| The upright drill press is one of the most widely used types; it is available in a large variety of shapes and sizes. The upright drill press is intended for medium work held in place on the table, or moderately heavy work which is placed on the base of some models. Those machines with a round column have a table which can be swung out of the way for this purpose. (Tables on machines with box columns cannot be swung). The worktable is raised and lowered with a table adjusting crank. Floor type models have both manual and auto mechanical feed. | |
